The silent snow has laid a pearl white
Blanket on the ground
And billions of tiny sparkles
Shimmer all around

A decorated Evergreen
Blinks in colored lights
And dances to the serenade
The Wind sings to the Night.

In a little old log cabin
That sits upon a Hill
There’s a raging fire to keep us warm
From Winter’s icy chill.

The atmosphere is friendly
Smiles come from the heart.
We share a bond that binds us
Even when apart.

Together we’ll time travel past
Twelve thousand yesterdays
To be with all of those we loved
Before they went away.

The energy of memories
Fill each heart within the room
Stories are told and songs are sung
The air lingers with tunes.

So, come to my old log cabin
Bring songs both old and new
And Christmas in the Rockies
Is what I’ll share with you.
